I patted myself dry then applied the lotion, waited 10 minutes, then dried off whatever was remaining. It was sticky for a few minutes then it went away. I saw results even after one application. I definitely recommend.

The color is good, I bought ultra dark. however I can see places I missed, because there's no color guide.

This is not a self-tanner. It is just meant to give you a pretty glow with a very subtle color. I honestly think with your hair being so blonde that this product is the most flattering on you and looks so natural. Very tasteful and radiant

It sucks putting on self tanners when u have age spots on your face , it grabs onto the spots and makes them super dark.I heard one way to combat this was to put chapstick on the age spots and that makes the tanner not bond to the age spots, but doesnt make sense cause you are rubbing the lotion in and u would think it would wipe the wax offthe spots.another way is to use rubbing alcohol on a QTip and wipe the tanner off the age spots after you apply it.I have to try that.Any other suggestions.

I use it on my face and it gets dark u can also put it on 2 or 3 times a day, just wait 4=6 hours in between I did my face twice the first time I used it looks dark

What would you suggest for a workout sweat resistant tanner

Your tan looks great, but I would suggest that when you get to your wrists mix a little bit of moisturizer in with your tanner for a more natural look. You could also do that for your hands, which will make them look less orange. If you’re not careful on these areas it can really make a fake tan look fake.

Anyone ever have luck removing it? I just tried it yesterday and woke up with horrible dark spots all over my legs. My legs may already have spots that I cannot see, but at any rate...the lotion makes them much darker & it looks like a skin condition. Australian Gold also did this & I thought it was just an expired can. Hawaiian Tropic worked the best but cant find it in local stores anymore.

Wait... is that the key to knees and elbows? Use normal moisturizer on them first? Does that stop that gross dark concentration look at joints?

I did not smell anything bad at all. It was dark green too; I wasn’t sure why. For an hour to develop, it’s amazing. As far as stickiness it wasn’t as bad either. Not sure why others find it so sticky.

Think I've been using this ever since it came out with no problem. I like how you can see exactly where it's been applied. Doesn't smell the best at first to me but others may not mind. I pat a tissue on ankles, knees elbows,, wrists and upper lip to absorb any excess to prevent dark spots. That technique works well. I should try a different type just to see difference. Maybe I'm working too hard. 😊Thanks for sharing this.
